Rich McCrady, Sr. has more than 40 years as a business executive in the transportation and logistics industry, including owning and operating his own companies profitably for over 23 years. He is a senior partner and principal for the Centurion Management Group, since 2002, and has led the organization with his entrepreneurial spirit in the areas of sales leadership and strategic business operations.

Previous to the launch of Centurion Management Group, Mr. McCrady founded and served as President and CEO for Masters Worldwide and FirstAir, Inc., a global logistics providers, delivering air, ocean and surface transportation services both domestically and internationally. He developed a “winning” sales approach and a support services platform that provided efficiencies beyond comparison for a logistics provider its size. The expansion and success of the organization was recognized by consistent high-performance sales leadership, offering superior technology, creating efficient operations, and delivering award-winning customer service.

In 2000, Mr. McCrady merged his organization with Consolidated Freightways, a transportation company providing LTL and logistics services throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, with 350 terminals and 21,000 employees, utilizing systems to provide international freight services between the United States and more than 80 countries. During this time, Rich McCrady, Sr., served as President and COO, of a wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Freightways, well-known as CF Worldwide, where he held overall responsibilities for operations, sales, technology and financial services. Mr. McCrady ran over 45 operations domestically and in Europe, and within a two-and-a-half-year span, had increased revenue figures by 300%, and executed significant change in processes that insured profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction and client retention.

Most recently, Rich Sr. founded The McCrady Group, (www.mccradygroup.com), an experienced change management company, providing better ways to help businesses and organizations function at the highest level of proficiency, in order to effectively maximize stakeholders’ returns. He has developed the intuitive sense to root out cultural distresses that lead to project failures, by skillfully examining the complexity of issues within each organization, developing roadmaps for success, building effective teams, and executing profitable change – this is what McCrady, Sr. does best.

Rich McCrady Sr. has served on boards of professional associations for many past years holding prominent positions as president, chairman and directors of an executive council. He is actively engaged currently with memberships in leading industry coalitions, including American Management Association, Institute of Management Consultants USA, Airforwarders Association, The International Air Cargo Association, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and the National Retail Federation.

McCrady Sr. is a noted speaker in the transportation industry with specific focus on employee relations and corporate culture.
